Deer Lodge sits to the north of Portage Ave, extending to Silver Ave between Conway St and Sackville St. There are a number of city parks, several following the Truro Creek Greenway. While there are no dedicated cycling trails, both Bruce Ave and Lodge Ave are generally safe streets running east-west.
