Wolseley hugs the Assiniboine River south of Portage Ave, bounded by the Empress St overpass to the west, and Maryland St to the east. There are many entry points along Portage Ave. There are also many parks in the area, the two largest being Omand Park off Raglan Rd to the west, and Vimy Ridge Park between Home St and Canora St to the northeast.
