Ridgewood South forms a long wedge to the north of Wilkes Ave, stretching from the west Perimeter Highway to the southwest corner of the Assiniboine Forest. It's bordered on the north by Harte Trail. As of 2022, only the western-most section of the neighbourhood is developed, though the wonderful Marj Edey Park provides a comprehensive sports center at Fairmont Rd.
