Whyte Ridge

Whyte Ridge sits to the south of McGillivray Blvd, extending to the residential loops south of Scurfield Blvd and Columbia Dr. It is bordered to the west by Brady Rd, and to the east by Kenaston Blvd.

There are a handful of parks scattered throughout the neighbourhood, the largest being Scurfield Park.

• The Whyte Ridge Community Centre runs alongside a set of railroad tracks on the north side of Fleetwood Rd. The park area features a basketball court, splash pad, playground, two hockey rinks, two soccer fields, and several historic placards.
• Scurfield Park North is a greenspace found at Scurfield Blvd and Columbia Dr, featuring a pathway and a pond.
• Scurfield Park sits next to Whyte Ridge School grounds, featuring a playground, a memorial to the victims of Flight PS752, several athletic fields, and a network of pathways running alongside a pond and hilltop.
• Don Smith Park sits next to Henry G. Izatt Middle School grounds, featuring a playground and several athletic fields.
• Leon Bell Park is a greenspace running along the west side of Scurfield Blvd at Fleetwood Rd, featuring several pathways passing by a pond, and a memorial to Leon Bell.
• Vanderbilt Park is a greenspace found on the east side of Vanderbilt Dr, featuring a pond.
