Linden Woods

Linden Woods sits to the south of Sterling Lyon Pkwy / Wilkes Ave, extending to McGillivray Blvd. It is bordered by the set of railroad tracks behind Kenaston Blvd to the west, and Waverley St to the east.

There are a handful of city parks throughout the neighbourhood.

  • Muys Park West is a greenspace found along the south side of Lindenwood Dr W, at the south end of Whidden Gate. The park features a shelter and view of a fountain in a pond.
  • Kleysen Park is a large park sharing space with the Linden Woods Community Centre, found along the west side of Lindenwood Dr W at Woodcott Pl. The park features a playground and splash pad, two hockey rinks, tennis courts, and several athletic fields.
  • Van Walleghem Park is a large park sharing space with Van Walleghem School grounds, found along the west side of Lindenwood Dr E at Lindenwood Pl. The park area features a playground, athletic fields, and a shelter atop a hill overlooking the central pond.
  • Lindenwoods Park is a long pathway running along the west side of the central pond, with entrances off Shoreline Dr and Edmond Muys Pl.
  • Muys Park is a large park sharing space with Linden Meadows School grounds, found along the north side of Lindenwood Dr E at Farmingdale Blvd. The park area features a playground, several athletics fields, and a shelter atop a hill overlooking the central pond.
  • Birmingham Place Park is a small greenspace found along Birmingham Pl, at the west end of Lindmere Dr.
  • Kaitlyn Lawes Park is greenspace found along the east side of Lindenwood Dr W, at the east end of Lindmere Dr. The park features a view of a fountain in the central pond.
