St. James Memorial Sports Park

St. James Memorial Sports Park is found on the north side of Silver Ave, at the north end of Amherst St. Home of the St. James Rods Football Club, this outdoor sports park features a football field, baseball diamond, pickleball courts, and playground. A large community garden run by the St. James Horiculture Society is found just west of the park.

Welcome to the St. James Memorial Sports Park! The main entrance off Silver Ave at the north end of Amherst St leads into a parking lot, flanked on the left by the playground. Facing north.

A pathway off Silver Ave leads into the Legion Memorial Playground, with plenty of benches and picnic tables available. Facing northeast.

The nearby community gardens, run by the St. James Horticulture Society, can be found along Silver Ave at the north end of Lyle St. Facing north.

A monument to commemorate victims of a 1972 plane crash in the area stands alongside the Yellow Ribbon Greenway, near the north end of Linwood St. Facing northeast.
