Sturgeon Creek Parkway (Booth)

The Sturgeon Creek Parkway runs through the Booth neighbourhood to the south of the Grace Hospital, on the north side of Portage Ave between Sturgeon Rd and Booth Ave. There's a large hilly open area on booth sides of the creek, with a network of pathways leading to every corner of the park. Visitors curious about the history of the area can visit the Grant's Old Mill Museum, or the placards for the Sturgeon Creek Fish Ladder on the opposite side of the creek.

Welcome to the Sturgeon Creek Parkway! Visitors coming from the southeast corner at Portage and Booth are greeted by the sign beckoning them forward towards Grant's Old Mill.

Visitors have plenty of places to sit amongst the open areas and pathways on the north side of the creek. Facing west.

Visitors are welcome to explore the history of water-powered mills in Grant's Old Mill museum during the era of the fur trade.
