Elzéar Goulet Park

Elzéar Goulet Park runs along the east shore of the Red River, about a block north of the Provencher Bridge. Visitors can enter the park off several pathways along Taché Ave, starting off the west end of Dumoulin St in the south, to Taapweewin Way in the north. The center of the park features a memorial to Elzéar Goulet, a Métis mail carrier from the mid-1800s.

Welcome to Elzéar Goulet Park! Visitors entering the park off Taché Ave at the west end of La Verendrye St are greeted by the memorial to Elzéar Goulet.

A second set of stones provides details about Elzéar Goulet, and his role in Louis Riel's Provisional Government.

West of the memorial, the pathways run along the forested bank of the Red River. Facing north.

Visitors can wander into the park off Taché Ave at the west end of Aubert St. Facing west.

Another pathway makes its way into the park from the northeast corner, just north of Tapweewin Way. Facing southwest.

A sizeable open area is available in the northern section of the park, offering a view of the downtown skyline. Facing west.

The long pathway winds under the railway bridge into the park from the northwest corner. Facing southeast.

Plenty of benches are available alongside the pathway that runs along the western edge of the park. Facing south.

A break in the forested area offers a stunning panorama view of the downtown skyline.

The pathways converge along the western edge of the park, facing northwest.

Visitors can wander into the park off Taché Ave at the west end of Notre Dame St. Facing west.

Another pathway entrance makes its way into the park from the northwest corner, opposite the west end of Dumoulin St. Facing northwest.

The pathway from Parc Josheph Royal enters the park from the southwest corner, facing north.
