Sir John Franklin sits to the east of Kenaston Blvd (Route 90) on the south shore of the Assiniboine River. It is bordered to the east by a set of railroad tracks west of Lindsay St, and to the south by Corydon Ave. There are a bundle of city parks and open spaces, with the Corydon Community Centre providing plenty of athletic activities.
