Betsworth

Betsworth sits to the south of Roblin Blvd, extending to Harte Trail, between Sparrow Rd and Scotswood Dr. There are multiple points of entry along Roblin Blvd, with Charleswood Rd and Community Row passing all the way through to Wilkes Ave. The other main roads running east-west include Betsworth Ave and Rannock Ave.

There are ten city parks:

  • Beaverdam Creek Park is a playground and greenspace found on the east side of Carlotta Cres.
  • Charleswood Memorial Park, also named The Burn, is a greenspace with a war cenotaph found on the south side of Roblin Blvd, just west of Berkley St.
  • Dawn McEwen Park, formerly known as Berkley Square, offers a playground on the east side of Berkley St. This website will be updated soon with the revised park name.
  • Hunterspoint Park is a playground and greenspace found at the west end of Kinrade Pl, off Hunterspoint Rd.
  • Parc Branconnier is a playground and greenspace found on the north side of Barbara Cres.
  • The Pembina Trails site of the Westdale Community Centre sits next to Oak Park High School, offering a football field, hockey rinks, and pathways through a forested area.
  • Beaumont School Park is a greenspace sharing grounds with Beaumont School, where several athletic fields and play structures are available.
  • Fraser Meadow provides several athletic fields, found on the east side of Municipal Rd near Harte Trail.
  • Scotswood Park provides a pathway running by a pond, found along the west side of Scotswood Dr, just south of Rannock Ave.
  • Scotswood / Glenbush Park is a playground found on the south side of Glenbush St, with a pathway connecting to Harte Trail.
