Woodhaven Park
Providing plenty of open space, Woodhaven Park runs along both sides of Sturgeon Creek, starting at the Woodhaven Blvd bridge through to Assiniboine Ave.
The attached community club offers two hockey rinks, a soccer field, a basketball court, and a playground.

The Woodhaven Community Club is in the center of the park, flanked by two hockey rinks. The playground (not shown) is just to the north.
An inconspicuous basketball court is nestled in next to the community club.

In the southeast corner of the park, a footbridge crosses over Sturgeon Creek.
Just south of the community club, a sparse line of trees open up to another expansive field.
Wander into the park from the south off Assiniboine Ave. A monument to "The Hill" is ahead to the right, near a park bench.
Facing north from atop the hill in the south end of the park, a view of the open spaces on both sides of Sturgeon Creek.
A paved pathway leads north back into the park, near the east end of Assiniboine Ave.
Coming from the east, you can enter the park at the intersection of Assiniboine Crescent and Woodbridge Rd. The footbridge ahead leads north onto Assiniboine Ave.
Near the southeast corner of the park, beyond more open areas, the community club is on the opposite side of Sturgeon Creek.

East of the park along Assiniboine Cres, a small open area provides a view of Sturgeon Creek as it flows into the Assiniboine River.
