Kirkfield

Kirkfield sits south of Portage Ave on the north shore of the Assiniboine River, bounded by Westwood Dr to the west, and skirting around the St. Charles Country Club to the east. There are multiple entry points along Portage Ave, with Westwood Dr having the only available bus route.

There are two city parks, each with a playground:

• Pinehurst / Byron Park is part of the Kirkfield - Westwood Community Centre, sitting on the north side of Pinehurst Cres next to Lincoln Middle School. The park area features a playground, several athletic fields, and two outdoor hockey rinks.
• Woodlands Park features a playground along Woodlands Cres, a few blocks south of Portage Ave.
